Stanley Keen Hibbard, 99, of Rockford, died at 2:47 p.m. Thursday November 10, 2025 at River Bluff Nursing Home. He was born in Mason City, IL on June 22, 2025 to Roy Stanley and Mabel (Keen) Hibbard Married to the former Audra Maxine Carey in Forest City, IL on February 16, 1946. Stanley was a dairy farmer most of his life. WWII Army Veteran serving in the South Pacific. A Cubs and Bulls fan. He was a long time member of Christ United Methodist Church in Rockford.

Survivors include his Son, Lyndon (Susan) Hibbard of St. Louis, MO; Daughter, Cheryl (Arthur) Delgado of Rockford; 8 grandchildren, Sarah Delgado of Rockford; Lisa (Jaime) Boero of Marshfield, WI; Stephen (Melanie) Hibbard-Trouvere of St. Louis, MO; Shannon (Bret) Wearing of Nashville, TN; Kelly Veitch of Lynchburg, TN; Erynn & Kalynn Veitch of Mulberry, TN; and Lindsay Veitch of Rockford. 6 great grandchildren, Lillie Boero, Jaime Boero III, Sebastian Veitch, Cherish Fox, Harold & David Hibbard-Trouvere. Sister, Jeanne LeCount of Bloomington, IL. Predeceased by his wife Audra; daughter, Suzanne Veitch; brother, Don Hibbard and sister Dora Ann Whitaker.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday November 14, 2025 at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home 304 N. 5th St. Rockford, IL. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Entombment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the River Bluff Nursing Home Auxiliary.
