Life Legacy
Jo Anne Frankland (Tuescher)
Jo Frankland passed away peacefully after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 31 years of Wayne (Kerrville, TX) and mom to Theresa Rielly (Madison, WI). Born in Monroe, Jo is pre-deceased by parents Bert and Mary Tuescher. She was sister to Jeanne Tuescher Sullivan (Gary Molitor) of Rockford, IL, Tom Tuescher(Linda) of Racine, WI; Jim Tuescher of Darlington; and Steve Tuescher (Patty) of Wiota. She was sister-in-law to Gary Frankland, Wilmington, NC; Sally Moran (Mike) of Costa Mesa, CA; and Fred Frankland (Joy) of Temecula, CA and was a favorite aunt to her many nieces and nephews and a cherished godmother.
With more than 30 years living and working in many countries, Jo was truly a citizen of the world. She was known for inspiring her family to explore the world beyond the US borders and for providing a window through which they could view and experience other cultures. She embraced and lived life to the fullest. Jo leaves behind dear and lasting friendships in all corners of the globe. She will be warmly remembered for her humor, her warmth and for her perennial interest in everyone and everything.
Funeral mass will be Friday, May 17, 2013, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington, Wisconsin. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Steil-Camacho Funeral Home, 206 E. Harriet St. in Darlington, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will follow the mass at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Darlington.
Donations in Jo’s memory to the American Cancer Society, to your local Hospice or to any agency in your community that rescues and cares for cats are welcomed in lieu of flowers.
