Life Legacy
Eva Linnea Dieckbernd of Fair Oaks Nursing Home in South Beloit, died April 29, 2015. She was born in 1920 in Rockford to John and Lilly Johnson. Married to Wilbert Roth Dieckbernd in St. Louis, Mo. On October 29, 1941. He passed in 1985. Eva was employed at Elco Industries in Rockford and Neighbors Nursing Home in Byron. Eva was one of the founding members of All Saints Lutheran Church in Byron. Survivors include her sons; Gary (Connie) Dieckbernd of Rockton and Dale (Linda) Dieckbernd of Atlanta, GA. Daughters; Sue Hanson of Benicia, CA. and Cindy Lane of Machesney Park. Grandchildren include; Karman (Bob) Bryer of Rockton, Kacie (Scott) Spanton of Roscoe, Kelsey (Adam) Cooper of Roscoe, Kristi (Liam) Molloy of Benicia, CA., David (Nikki) Hanson of Fort Hood, Texas, Ryan (Sarah) Dieckbernd of tyrone, GA. and Carissa (Patrick) Mazzeo of Parker, CO. She was also the proud grand parent to (11) Great-Grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, parents and 3 brothers; Gunnard, Ingvar and Walter Johnson. Graveside service at 1:00 P.M.
