Mary Helen Sollis, 67, ROCKFORD – Mary Sollis passed away following a long illness on Monday, June 9, 2015, in Rockford, Illinois. Born September 20, 1947, the daughter of Tom and Mary Lee Moore in Sheffield Alabama, Mary was born a fraternal twin to Jerry Moore and moved to Rockford when she was very young with her brothers and sister. Mary was a homemaker and worked various service jobs including Chiles Catering, Beaky’s, Warner Lambert, Howard Johnson, & Holiday Inn. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to Bingo, and cooking for her family. Mary had a giggle and a laugh that was second to none. She adored her family and did a lot for her friends. Mary is predeceased by her infant son, Robert Booth, her first husband: Billy Junior Campbell (Arkansas), and her third husband: Adrian “Jim” Sollis (Illinois), her sister: Lila (Charles) Hulsey (Florida), and brothers: Tommy Moore (Illinois), Joe Moore, and Jessie Moore (both of Alabama). Survivors include children, Dan (Lynell) Campbell of Rockford and Joe Booth of Rockford; brother, Bobby (Peggy-deceased) Moore; her second husband, Robert Booth (Missouri), her grandchildren: Paige Campbell, Lauren Campbell, Keigan Booth, and her great-granddaughter Mayleah Campbell-Lancaster; along with nephews and nieces too numerous to mention; and her friends at Amberwood Care Centre. Special thank you for loving attention and care by Stephanie Bailey-Booth. Her family and friends would also like to thank OSF Saint Anthony's Medical Center for the care they gave Mary during her recent illness; Rene Escalante, OSF Chaplain.
