Life Legacy
John Charles Kappen-65- Rockford, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Born February 1, 1950, in Rockford, the son of Albert and Muriel Wilcox Kappen. John was an auto body repair and painter all his life. Survivors include his sons; Johnathan Kappen and Brian Peterson and his daughter Lori Peterson. Sister, Sharon Bramlett of Cape Girardeau, MO. and his brother Carl "Bill" (Barbara) Kappen of Rockford. Former wife, Karen Kappen of Rockford and nephews Zack and Eric Kappen. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry. Private family services and memorials may be given in care of the family.
