Life Legacy
Diane L. Butler-81-Rockford, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2015. She was born to Wilbur and Juanita (Hale) Allen on June 8, 1934. Diane is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ronald Butler Sr.; children Judy Williams, Janice Amundson, Janet Moore, Ronald (Kris) Butler Jr., Jennifer (David) Boyd, Laura (Jim) VanBriesen, Cindy (Larry) Higgs and Rick Butler. Brothers-in-law, Jerry (Doris) and Donald Butler; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a very special Auntie Barb. Predeceased by her parents, son, brother, sister, and sister-in-law. Diane was a loving wife, mother and grandma. Her life revolved around spending time with family and close friends and watching the Chicago Cubs. Diane will be deeply missed by all of us that loved and cared for her. A service will be held July 23, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. graveside at Scandinavian Cemetery, 1700 Rural St. in Rockford.
