Lucy Louella Heckelmiller-103-Rockford, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Born September 14, 2025 in Newton, IL. the daughter of Harry and Flora (Trimble) Netheny. Lived in Rockford since 1928. Married Russell George Heckelmiller in Rockford on September 28, 1935. She was a self -employed seamstress for many years. Member of St. Edward Catholic Church since 1933 and was a member of the Senior Citizens and Ladies Guild. She was the “Woman of the year” a few years ago at the church. Survivors include her son, Donald (Joyce) Heckelmiller of Rockford, grandchildren; Justin (Casey) and Joshua and great grandchildren, Corbin , Nolan and Daphne. Her sister, Dorothy Riley and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Russell in 1997, 3 brothers, Perry, James and Raymond and 2 sisters, Madonna and Oleta. Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 28, 2025 at St. Edward Church. Visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Monday July 27, 2015, at Julian-Poorman-Welte. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
