| Lucy A. Weatherford-75-Belvidere, died at 5:44 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2011, at Rosewood Health Care Center. Born July 27, 1936, in S. Clinchfield, VA., daughter of Sam and Lettie Sutherland Brown. She married William “Bill” R. Weatherford in Rockford on June 10, 1961. She formerly worked at National Lock Co. for 11 years. She wanted to travel the world and loved golf, bingo, bowling and gambling. Survivors include her husband, Bill, her son William “Scott” Weatherford of Rockford. Granddaughters; Amanda Kay, Jennifer Nicole and Annetta Michelle Weatherford. Great grand children; Julian Jordan Cruz and Jayden Jeffery Weatherford McBain. Brothers; Robert, Douglas and Wayne Brown of Rockford. Predeceased by 5 brothers, 1 sister and two children, Anita Kay in 1976 and Jeffery in 2008. Services at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Julian-Poorman-Welte funeral Home . Rev. Dr. Ron Meyer will officiate. Burial at Willwood Burial Park.
