Biography

Clarence Edward “Butch” Snider-67- Rockford, died at 2:50 P.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at his home. Born October 21, 1944, in Rockford, son of Edward and Iva Martindale Snider. He was an inspector/ programmer at G E Aviation for the last five years. He loved computers, traveling and skiing, the Bears and Cubs. Graduated from Northern Illinois University. Survivors include his son, Clarence “Butchie” Snider II, his longtime companion, Laureen Snider and his brothers; William (Deborah) and Willard (Mary) Snider all of Rockford. He was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Worley, on the 30th of October. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011, at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until noon. Memorials may be given in care of the family.
