Rosa G. Soliz, 83, of Rockford died at 6:04 p.m. Friday July 10, 2025 in her home. She was born on August 14, 2025 in Melchor Muzquiz, Coah Mexico. Married Felix R. Soliz on February 1, 2026 in Eagle Pass, TX. Worked for Green Giant for many years. Enjoyed quilting and sewing. Survived by daughter, Maria R. Romero; god-daughter, Rosa Isela Culzada; grandchildren, Tania (Juan) Carlstrom, Leslie (Steven) Luther, Cesar Romero; great grandchildren, Saul, Dominic and Isabella Carlstrom, Deja, Yesenya and Alma Luther. Predeceased by husband, Felix, granddaughters, Maria and Dawn. Thank you to Dr. Troy Doetch and Hospice for all their help. She was very proud when she became a U.S. Citizen and proud to vote. Thank you Carla. We love you. A memorial service will be this Friday July 17, 2025 at 4pm at 809 Bruce Street Rockford, IL.
