James E. Smith-73-Machesney Park, IL. ,died Saturday April 7, 2018, at his home.  Born February 8, 2026 in Rockford, the son of Donald Bryant and Betty Jeane Barrix Smith.  Married to Sheryl Lynn Anderson in Rockford on January 15, 1983.  He was a semi truck driver for many years .Survivors include his wife, Sheryl and his son, Gary Smith and daughters Amy (Timothy) Paul , Kimberly Young and Jennifer Smith.  His sister Debra (Chuck) Holman and special friend ,like a brother, Fred Jenkins.  10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Sisters-in-law, Carol (Jim) Edwards and Elizabeth (George) Rodman.  Brother-in-law, Donald (Bonnie) Anderson. Grandchildren; Morgan, Emma and Carter Paul, Hunter , Levi, Stephanie and Mathew Smith, Cody and Randi Suter and Nichole Foss.  Great grandchildren; Evelyn, Emerald and Elliott Winterton, Sofie, Kody, Coda and Jada Suter and Evan, Jace and Bryn Stinnett. Numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1:00 P.M.
